About The Lauren Marie Kimsey Foundation
The Lauren Marie Kimsey Foundation was established in order to fund research and help others battling synovial sarcoma.
We hope to help find a cure for synovial sarcoma and ensure no one else suffers from this disease. We hope more people can keep doing what Lauren did so well, which was “live, laugh, and love.” This foundation was established by Lauren’s sister, Ashley, and their parents, Pam and Warren.
Who Was Lauren?
Lauren Marie Kimsey, 39, of Mooresville, was born January 23, 1977 in Gastonia, NC to Robert Warren Kimsey and Pamela Hightower Kimsey. Graceful, determined Lauren, with her beautiful smile, was loved by people all around the Lake Norman community. Always ready to help, Lauren had a kindness and gentleness that came from the heart and a laugh that made everyone around her smile.
Lauren was the marketing director for Aquesta Bank and worked with many organizations, including the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce, in both business and philanthropic areas. Lauren was a giver. She always wanted to help other people, whether it was through her many charitable aspirations or by supporting her family and friends in any way she could.Read More +
